Nudist Beach in Foz

Foz Area

Foz is a Mariña town at the mouth of its ría, on the Cantabrian face of Lugo, between Burela and the ría of Ribadeo. Official Galician tourism presents A Rapadoira as the urban sand, a harbour of fishing boats and a green hinterland of dairy country. The FEVE line and the coast road tie Foz to the rest of A Mariña. Children and adults alike will enjoy the promenade, the family beach and the evening streets of the centre.

There is 1 nudist beach in Foz, Area Brava, also known as Os Alemáns, a rock-cut cove toward the Burela boundary. In 2018 the town hall's beach ordinance named Os Alemáns as the municipal sand for nudism. It is a public, isolated corner for lazy days in the sun, with fewer services than A Rapadoira. Wear shoes on the descent, read the people around you, and do not treat the whole Foz shore as a single naturist strip.
