Nudist Beach in Mijas

Mijas Area

Mijas is the white village on the hillside above the Costa del Sol, with a long municipal shore of its own between Fuengirola and Marbella. Official Mijas tourism splits that coast into the family fronts of Calahonda, La Cala and the Chaparral, plus quieter corners toward El Faro. The inland pueblo, with its viewpoints over the Mediterranean, is a short drive or bus ride from the coastal urbanisations. Children and adults alike will enjoy the village squares, the coastal path and a swim on the serviced sands of La Cala before the day heats up. The A-7 runs behind the shore; Málaga-Costa del Sol airport is the usual arrival.

There is 1 nudist beach in Mijas, El Charcón, listed by Mijas tourism as Playa El Charcón-Playamarina and marked on the municipal beach sheet as a nudist beach. Official figures on that sheet are about 940 metres long and 16 metres wide, with dark sand and gravel, a rocky bottom, no sunbeds or beach bars on the naturist stretch, and access described as difficult on foot, by car or by bus. The Guía de Playas lineage imported for the child page records partial use on the western part of the sand. Stay on the marked naturist section, leave the family fronts of La Cala and Calahonda textile, and expect fewer services than on the main resort beaches.
