Es Migjorn
Es Migjorn (Platja de Migjorn) is the long southern coast of Formentera, a crescent of sandy coves and rocky breaks that official tourism often rounds to about five kilometres. The Guía de Playas figure for the named stretch is 3,500 metres. From west to east, local names include Es Mal Pas, Es Ca Marí, Es Códol Foradat, Es Arenals, Es Copinar and on toward Caló d'Es Mort. Paths through juniper forest drop down to the shore at many points.
It is one of the quieter large beaches on the island despite hotels and beach restaurants scattered along the backshore. Winter storms reshape sandy pockets year to year. Ca Marí, Es Arenals and Es Copinar are among the more popular sandy entries with a gentle seabed. Platges de Balears notes an Àrea Natural d'Especial Interès along this Migjorn-Tramuntana coast and that nudism is allowed in the setting.
Naturists favour Migjorn precisely because the length lets people spread out. Clothing-optional use is normal in the quieter rocky-sand pockets away from the busiest chiringuito fronts. There is no single fenced nudist zone; walk until the mood matches what you want, and give others space.
Parking is informal near the various turn-offs rather than one huge car park. Buses serve stops within a short walk of some access points. Footwear helps on rocky links between sandy bays.
