Es Pujols
Es Pujols is Formentera's main resort village on the north-east coast. Its beach is a shell-shaped run of sand about 690 metres long, backed by a promenade of restaurants, shops and evening stalls. Low rocks and traditional boat huts (escars) break the shore. Official tourism highlights clear turquoise water and white sand, with views toward small offshore islets. Punta Prima closes the bay on one side; toward the other, the coast trends into Sa Roqueta and Llevant.
This is the island's most serviced bathing strip: sunbeds in season, easy flat access, and disabled access noted on our fact table. It is also the busiest. Families, day visitors and nightlife overlap here more than anywhere else on Formentera.
Although the Guía de Playas marks nudism for the listing, in day-to-day use Es Pujols is the least naturist-oriented beach on the island. Travel guides consistently steer naturists toward Sa Roqueta, Llevant or Migjorn instead. If you prefer a textile, facilities-rich day with children, this is the straightforward choice.
Buses, taxis and bike hire are all close. For a quieter swim, walk ten minutes toward Sa Roqueta.
