Platja de ses Canyes

Ses Canyes is a short cove of sand and gravel just beside Es Pujols, south of Sa Roqueta. Official tourism describes a quiet, lightly developed shore with low dunes, sheltered by the Es Pujols reef so the water often stays calm enough for small children. The Guía de Playas gives about 85 metres by 12 metres. Posidonia and mixed rock make it a fair snorkel when the sea is clear and fish hold close to the shore.

There is no beach bar on the sand; the nearest food is in Es Pujols or at Sa Roqueta. Bring water, shade and footwear for the rocky patches. Access is on foot or by car from the village. There is no large dedicated beach car park, which helps keep the cove from turning into a second Es Pujols.

Naturism is listed in the Guía de Playas. Given how close the cove sits to a family resort beach, expect a mixed scene and use judgement. Many naturists continue a little further to Sa Roqueta or Llevant when Ses Canyes feels too central. If you stay, keep voices down and leave the dune grass alone.

The megalithic tomb of Ca na Costa is only a short walk inland if you want a non-beach break in the same corner of the island.
