Ses Salines
On this site, Ses Salines names a long coastal strip tied to Formentera's historic salt workings and the wetland landscape around Estany Pudent. The Guía de Playas lists an unusually long sandy frontage (about 4.7 km) inside an Àrea Natural d'Especial Interès. It is not a single town beach with one car park and a row of bars. Think instead of salt ponds, dunes and open shore within the wider Ses Salines Natural Park setting.
Public tourism writing focuses more on walking or cycling the lagoon edges, birdwatching and the old salt pans than on a classic day-on-the-sand package. Estany Pudent itself is not for bathing. For swimming, most people continue to Cavall d'en Borràs, Illetes, Llevant or Sa Roqueta, which sit on the same northern park coast.
The Guía de Playas marks nudism as practised along this listing. In the field you will mainly meet walkers, cyclists and people moving between the better-known sandy beaches. Keep to marked routes, do not enter restricted salt-work or nesting areas, and leave the dunes alone.
If you came looking for sunbeds and beach restaurants, choose Illetes or Es Pujols instead. If you want the salt-park landscape, bring binoculars and use the green routes from La Savina or Es Pujols.
