Nudist Beach in El Campello
El Campello Area
Ideally located on the lovely Costa Blanca, between the cities of Alicante and Benidorm, El Campello is a pretty holiday resort boasting miles of white sandy beaches. An historical town where archaeological remains dating back to 3000BC have been found. There is a quaint fishing harbour which is dominated by a 16th century lookout tower, used in the past as an early warning against marauding Pirates. Although predominantly a tourist resort, careful planning has gone into the layout of the town, with few high rise buildings and pretty, brightly coloured houses along the seafront. El Campello has a modern promenade called the Paseo del Mar that stretches for 2 miles along the seafront with a good selection of bars and restaurants to enjoy some of the local specialities and fresh seafood. A good deal of this mouth watering seafood will have come from the busy fish market.
El Campello is just a 20 minute drive from the international Alicante airport that services many budget airlines from all over Europe and the United Kingdom. The city of Alicante is about a 15 minute drive or there is a tram ride which takes 20 minutes. Alicante makes for a great day out with hundreds of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The city boasts many attractions such as a luxurious marina, several beautiful parks, museums, churches and a cathedral. A 25 minute drive in the opposite direction takes visitors to the party city of Benidorm, famous for its bawdy nightlife and Stag & Hen parties. Literally flooded with high rise accommodation, bars, restaurants and clubs, Benidorm is also a great place to find cheap eateries such as Tapas bars and Kebab shops.
Whilst most visitors to El Campello are happy to enjoy the quieter atmosphere of the town, eating and drinking in the local bars & restaurants and spending their days swimming and sunbathing on the town’s beaches, for the more adventurous, there is an official nudist beach in El Campello, located north of the town.
