Oleiros faces A Coruña across the ría, a residential municipality of pine, granite villas and a string of small sands toward Mera and Santa Cristina. Official Galician tourism presents it as the everyday shore of the Gulf of Ártabro, a short drive or bus hop from the capital, with family beaches and a coastal path rather than a single resort front. The Tower of Hercules is in view from several headlands. Children and adults alike will enjoy Santa Cristina, the walks at Mera and the evening streets back toward the city.
The rockier corners between the named family beaches hold the imported pages on this site. There are 4 nudist beaches in Oleiros, As Margaritas, Atalaya, Bastiagueiro Pequeño and Canaval. They are public coves for lazy days in the sun, a favourite with those who prefer a little more privacy than Santa Cristina. Wear shoes where the rocks begin, expect mixed use, and do not treat the whole Oleiros seafront as a single naturist strip.
