Valdoviño is an Atlantic municipality on the Rías Altas, north of Ferrol, known for the Frouxeira lagoon and beach and for the surf at Pantín. Official Galician tourism presents a long, open sand, a coastal wetland and a string of smaller coves toward Cedeira. The village sits inland of the lagoon; the beaches face the swell. Visitors arrive by the AC-112 from Ferrol. Children and adults alike will enjoy the lagoon walks, the surf and the family stretches of Frouxeira.

There is 1 nudist beach in Valdoviño, Baleo, an imported page on this more broken shore rather than a marked enclosure. It is a public corner for lazy days in the sun, a favourite with those who prefer a little more privacy than the main Frouxeira front. Wear shoes, expect fewer services, and do not treat the whole Valdoviño coast as a single naturist strip.
