Marín sits on the southern shore of the ría of Pontevedra, a naval and fishing town opposite the provincial capital, with the Spanish naval school on the waterfront. Official Galician tourism presents the harbour, the ría views and a short coast toward Bueu and the Morrazo. The AP-9 and the PO-551 tie Marín to Pontevedra city and to Sanxenxo across the water. Children and adults alike will enjoy the paseo, the family sands and the evening streets of the centre.

There is 1 nudist beach in Marín, Os Namorados, an imported cove on the more broken ría edge rather than a marked enclosure. It is a public corner for lazy days in the sun, a favourite with those who prefer a little more privacy than the town front. Read the people around you, expect mixed use, and do not treat the whole Marín shore as a single naturist strip.
