Vigo is Galicia's largest city, a major Atlantic port on the southern shore of its ría, with the Castro hill, a working harbour and the usual boats to the Cíes. Official Galician tourism presents the city for seafood, the old town around the Colegiata and day trips into the Atlantic Islands National Park. Peinador airport sits just inland. Park visits to the Cíes are booked; the national park asks visitors to stay on marked paths and keep off the dunes. Children and adults alike will enjoy Samil, the harbour and, with a reservation, a day on the islands.
There are 4 nudist beaches in Vigo. On the Cíes, the park page for Figueiras describes a sand with views of the Costa da Vela and records a nudist tradition (tradición nudista). On the mainland, toward Saiáns and Nigrán, this site also lists A Noiva, Baluarte and Muíños de Fortiñón. Official Vigo tourism describes Fortiñón, or Saiáns, as a young, lively sand where nudism can be practised. Check the park booking system before you plan the Cíes, stay on the boardwalks, and do not treat the whole city shore as a single naturist strip.
