Nudist Beach in Vejer de la Frontera

Vejer de la Frontera Area

Vejer de la Frontera is a white hill town in La Janda, in the south-west of Cádiz province, looking over the Barbate river plain toward the Atlantic. Official municipal tourism places it on a hill about 200 metres above sea level, inside a walled historic centre reached through the Arco de la Villa, with Plaza de España at the heart of the old streets. The same official guide lists the A-48 from Seville and Cádiz, the N-340 along the coast, and Jerez airport about 75 kilometres away. The municipality also holds about 8 kilometres of shore at El Palmar, a long open Atlantic sand that is a destination in its own right for families, surfers and evening walks. Children and adults alike will enjoy the white lanes, the viewpoints and a slower day in the pueblo blanco before dropping down to the coast.

There is 1 nudist beach in Vejer de la Frontera, Playa Mangueta, the isolated golden sand that the imported Guía de Playas sheet places between the better-known fronts of El Palmar and Zahora. That sheet records about 900 metres by 50 metres, partial naturist use, a moderate swell, and access on foot or by car from the A-48. Official Vejer tourism presents El Palmar as the municipal holiday beach and does not, on the guide used here, add a statutory nudist enclosure. Treat Mangueta as the quieter continuation of that shore, not as a fenced resort. The Federación Española de Naturismo lists Mangueta as association tradition. Bring water, expect wind, and keep El Palmar's busier family front as you find it.
