Mutriku Area
Mutriku is a fishing town on the western Gipuzkoa coast, one of the three founding municipalities of the Basque Coast UNESCO Global Geopark with Deba and Zumaia. Official geopark pages list the tourist office on Txurruka plaza. The harbour, the old streets and the flysch cliffs toward Saturraran and Deba are the usual reasons to stop. Visitors arrive on the GI-638 or from the A-8, with Ondarroa in Bizkaia just west of the provincial line. Official Basque Coast copy treats Mutriku as a geopark and seafaring town rather than a large resort.
There are 3 nudist beaches in Mutriku on this site: Alkolea, Burumendi and Siete Playas. Guía de Playas records them as isolated pebble, rock and gravel shores of partial nudism, reached on foot from the GI-638, with Siete Playas also noted as reachable by boat and only at low tide, a dangerous shore if you do not know the rocks. The official Basque Coast brochure names Saturraran, next to this stretch, among the community's naturist places; this tree files the neighbouring child as Siete Playas rather than a Saturraran slug. Official geopark boat trips include a Seven Beaches outing along the black flysch. Wear shoes, watch the tide, and do not treat the harbour front as a naturist enclosure.
