Mogán is the south-western municipality of Gran Canaria, a chain of ravines that drop to Puerto de Mogán, the compact fishing-harbour resort that visitors still compare to a little Venice of canals and painted houses. Official tourism treats the south-west as the quieter neighbour of Maspalomas: smaller bays, more cliff walks, a marina rather than a kilometre of dunes. The GC-1 and GC-200 serve the coast from the airport. Inland Mogán village is a different, agricultural world. Children and adults alike will enjoy the harbour, the boat trips and the sheltered town sand.
There are 7 nudist beaches in Mogán. The Guía lists nudism as practised on all seven. Veneguera is the best-known wild valley beach, sand and gravel in a protected space, with foot, car or boat notes in the inventory. Tiritaña, Perchel and Los Secos are smaller isolated corners, some boat-access only. Los Frailes and Medio Almud are listed as semi-urban; Ambar is an isolated sand and boulder strand. Puerto de Mogán's main marina beach remains the family front. Do not treat the whole municipality as one naturist strip.
