Santa María de Guía de Gran Canaria, usually called Guía, is a northern town between Gáldar and Las Palmas, known to official tourism for flor de Guía cheese, a thistle-rennet cheese with a protected designation of origin shared with two neighbouring municipalities. The historic centre is a compact grid under the hills; bananas and cattle still matter more than hotels. The GC-2 is the road from the capital. This is an everyday Canarian town, not a winter resort. Official Gran Canaria copy still sends food-minded visitors here for the cheese and a stroll, then on to Gáldar's painted cave or the Arucas church.

There is 1 nudist beach in Santa María de Guía de Gran Canaria, Punta del Angosto, an isolated boulder strand of about 175 metres that the Guía lists as practised for nudism, with difficult foot access. It is not a town-promenade enclosure. Wear shoes, expect few services, and keep the plaza and cheese shops as the family visit.
