Tinajo is a compact western municipality of Lanzarote, inland white villages on the edge of Timanfaya and a low lava coast around La Santa. Official island tourism treats this shore as wind, sport and black rock rather than a second Playa Blanca. The LZ-67 and LZ-20 are the roads from Teguise or Yaiza. Mancha Blanca is the usual gateway village for the national park visitor centre. Children and adults alike will enjoy a calmer island day, a bowl of rancho canario, and a look at the malpaís.
There are 8 nudist beaches in Tinajo. The Guía lists nudism as practised on all eight. La Santa (Pueblo) is the one urban village sand in the inventory. Caleta del Mariscadero, Los Risquetes and Piedra Mansa are longer isolated corners, several in protected spaces. Barranco del Burro, La Madera, Las Malvas and Pico Alto complete the list. Take reef shoes, mind the swell, and keep La Santa's everyday harbour rocks as the textile default unless practice on the day says otherwise.
