Moncofa
Nudist Beach in Moncofa
Moncofa Area
Moncofa is a small Costa del Azahar town in Castellón province, a fishing and holiday settlement on a low shore of dunes, urbanisations and the mouth of the river Belcaire. Official municipal tourism describes about 6 kilometres of coast, from the serviced villa-marítima sands of Pedraroja, Grau and Masbo to the wilder walks of the Belcaire blue trail, a 4-kilometre seaside path marked by ADEAC-FFE in 2017. Children and adults alike will enjoy the promenade beaches, the interpretation centre by the river and a picnic on the dune path. The N-340 and the AP-7 run inland; Castellón and Valencia airports are the usual arrivals.
There is 1 nudist beach in Moncofa on this site, Belcaire, the imported child at the river mouth. Official Moncofa tourism presents Belcaire as a 500-metre dune and dog beach at the start of that blue trail, and it places the naturist zone at the beginning of Playa Beniesma, the 1,200-metre virgin sand reached by the boardwalk over the river, with the remains of a sixteenth-century watchtower along the same walk. Comunitat Valenciana tourism repeats that Beniesma has a naturist area. Beniesma is not a page on this site, so it is not linked. Read the official Beniesma sheet for the marked naturist stretch, treat Belcaire as the river-mouth neighbour on this site, and keep the villa-marítima fronts textile.
