stretches for over 100 kilometres along the Costa del Azahar, north as far as Vinaros, south to La Vall d’Uixo and inland to Vilafranca. Province is home to some beautiful natural parks including the Natural Park of Serra D’Irta which surrounds the town of Peniscola in a stunning array of secluded beaches, coves, wilderness and rocky climbs, interspersed with hiking trails. Near the agricultural village of Cabanes is the El Prat de Cabanes Natural Park, a picturesque wetland area of 800 hectares which has natural springs that keep it flooded throughout the year and is home to a fabulous array of flora & fauna.
