Tazacorte is the small west-coast municipality of La Palma, a banana port and a compact old town on a lava shelf above the Atlantic. Official tourism treats it as the sunny leeward shore of the isla bonita, with a working harbour, a black-sand town beach and views up to the Caldera. Los Llanos is the neighbouring commercial town. Ferries and the airport on the east still mean a cross-island drive. Children and adults alike will enjoy the harbour walk and a plate of wrinkly potatoes with red mojo.

There is 1 nudist beach in Tazacorte, Los Tarajales, an urban sand and gravel shore of about 760 metres that the Guía lists as practised for nudism, inside the biosphere reserve, with car access. It is a public town-edge sand, not a fenced club. The 2021 west-side eruption changed parts of this coast; check local advice. Keep the harbour family beach as the default unless the day's practice is clearly mixed.
