Valle Gran Rey is the deep western valley of La Gomera, a terraced ravine of palms and white hamlets that opens to a string of dark-sand bays. Official tourism treats it as the island's main beach stay: a long descent from Garajonay's laurel forest, a harbour at Vueltas, and a slower evening than Los Cristianos, which is the usual ferry start. The island is a biosphere reserve; the park at the summit is UNESCO-listed. Children and adults alike will enjoy the valley lookouts, a swim at the town sands, and a quieter Canary week.

There is 1 nudist beach in Valle Gran Rey, El Inglés, an isolated sand and rock shore of about 400 metres that the Guía lists as practised for nudism, inside a ZEPA, rural park and biosphere reserve, with easy foot or car access. It is not Playa del Inglés on Gran Canaria. The valley's everyday harbour and town sands remain the family front. Do not treat the whole ravine as a single naturist strip.
