Sant Pere Pescador is a village on the Fluvià, in the Alt Empordà, beside the Empordà Marshes Natural Park and a long dune beach on the Gulf of Roses. Official Costa Brava guides describe orchards, campsites, and a shore popular with windsurfers and walkers. The park is a stopover for migrating birds; the Cortalet centre, on the Castelló side, is the usual place for maps and seasonal closures. The village itself is small and agricultural, a few kilometres inland of the sand. Visitors come for the beach, the river and the hides, not for a historic centre on the scale of Castelló d'Empúries. The C-31 and GI-624 are the road approaches; Figueres and the airport at Girona are the onward links.

Official park notes close parts of the beach in the nesting season, with guides mentioning early April to mid-June for some loops, and those notices bind everyone. There is 1 nudist beach in Sant Pere Pescador, Sant Pere Pescador, the long public dune shore where visitors can spend quiet days among sand and sky. It is not a small enclosed cove. Stay off the dunes, respect rope and boardwalk, and treat the village end as more family-oriented than the open park sand. Take water and sun protection; the wind on the gulf is part of the landscape.
